Made in the U.K, the 29/71 Carbon Safety Lanyard is the first freediving lanyard designed to have a full 360-degree rotation at both the carabiner and wrist strap ends.
This allows the Lanyard to stay true and straight throughout the dive, moving with and not against you as you turn, giving you confidence that your Lanyard won't hinder your dive.
The 29/71 Carabiner was designed and printed with safety in mind, using nylon infused carbon fibre and a glass fibre core running through it to give strength comparable to aluminium.
The Lanyard has a quick-release shackle to disconnect when needed easily. The wrist strap is made with heavy-duty webbing designed for use by Para-Gliders and uses steel slip rings to secure the strap to your wrist, much like a climber’s harness is attached. (During testing, this proved much more effective than velcro, ensuring your Lanyard will not come off under pressure).
It comes in black, with your choice of wrist straps in either Neon Pink, Neon Blue or Black, which is colour coded to the quick release toggles.
As a bonus, all Carbon Safety Lanyards can be used interchangeably with the 29/71 CNF Belt, meaning you get additional safety for less cost than purchasing two Lanyards separately.
It's 120cm long end to end and weighs 185g in total.
